  • Binbin Lin delivered three oral presentation, the topics are

    1. Statistical Machine Learning Meets High-Dimensional Spatiotemporal Challenges - A Case Study of COVID-19 Modeling

    2. Sensing the Pulse of the Pandemic through Geospatial Big Data

    3. Geographically and Temporally reveal Circadian Rhythm Disorder Based on Nocturnal Twitter Activity During Covid-19 Pandemic

  • She also played an active role in the Next Generation Mapping meeting at the conference, offering valuable insights into how young scholars in the field of Cartography can contribute and take meaningful actions.

  • Joynal Abedin delivered a oral presentation:

    1. "Mapping the geographically and temporally evolved flood risks in the contiguous United States" which tried to evaluate and map county-wise flood risk in the United States and unravel its spatial-temporal dynamics from 2001 to 2019.

  • Meanwhile, Binbin Lin and Joynal Abedin were awarded the ICA scholarships 2023, and USNC travel funding! Congratulations!

We look forward to seeing more findings and outcomes from these researches!
