We are thrilled to share that Dr. Bing Zhou, a former Ph.D. graduate from the GEAR Lab, will be joining the University of Tennessee, Knoxville as a tenure-track Assistant Professor!

Bing’s research focuses on responsible GIScience, GeoAI, and disaster resilience, advancing innovative and ethical approaches to geospatial data science for societal benefit. In his new role, he will be establishing his own research lab and recruiting Ph.D. and M.S. students eager to work at the intersection of geospatial technologies, artificial intelligence, and resilience research.
