Dr. Lei Zou Presents Invited Talk on "Building a Resilient Future with Socially Responsible GeoAI" at the TAMIDS Ethical and Explainable GeoAI Workshop

Dr. Lei Zou was invited to deliver a talk at the TAMIDS Ethical and Explainable GeoAI Workshop, held on February 27, 2025, at Texas A&M University. His presentation, titled "Socially Responsible GeoAI for Disaster Resilience", highlighted the critical role of ethical principles in the development of AI-driven geospatial technologies.


In his talk, Dr. Zou emphasized the importance of safeguarding societal interests, upholding ethical principles, addressing limitations in GeoAI data and models, and incorporating human values into AI-driven geospatial decision-making processes.
