Dr. Lei Zou's keynote talk at the 4th Spatial Data Science Symposium 2023


Spatial Data Science Symposium 2023 (SDSS 2023) is a FREE distributed/online symposium that brings together researchers from academia, industry, non-profits, and government from all over the world. NZ participants are welcome to join the UC symposium hub. Groups of participants will meet at the symposium hubs distributed around the world to present and discuss with other participants both in person and online.

On September 5th, 2023, Dr. Lei Zou made an exciting presentation about how to achieve a smart and resilient future with spatial data science in this symposium. During the keynote talk, Dr. Lei Zou comprehensively introduced what is disaster resilience and gave some wonderful examples to present how to utilize (near) real-time geospatial big data and traditional GIS data in disaster resilience.
