We are thrilled to announce that Texas A&M University Ph.D. students Yifan Yang and Hao Tian have been selected as winners of the 2026 Cartography and Geographic Information Society (CaGIS) Student Research Scholarships at the Ph.D. level.
Yifan Yang, advised by Dr. Lei Zou, and Hao Tian, advised by Dr. Heng Cai, were recognized for their outstanding research contributions to the field. The CaGIS scholarship is a highly competitive award designed to support advanced research and education in cartography and geographic information science.
