Yifan Yang Awarded the Department of Geography Graduate Student Enhancement Scholarship 🎉

GEAR Lab is pleased to announce that Ph.D. student Yifan Yang has been awarded the 2026 Geography Graduate Student Enhancement Scholarship by the Department of Geography at Texas A&M University.

This scholarship award, carrying a funding amount of $1,111, recognizes graduate students in the department for their academic dedication, research progress, and ongoing contributions to the geospatial and geographic sciences community.

The enhancement funding will support Yifan's continued doctoral research at GEAR Lab, focusing on autonomous GeoAI, multimodal disaster intelligence, and cross-view geospatial foundation models.
